MINDEMOYA MHA - VOLUNTEERS
No volunteers, No hockey.

Hi Thunder Parents, The existing executive had the first meeting August 27th.  I volunteered to write y’all a sternly worded message..so here it goes. We are still in dire need of people to step up and fill executive positions. A call to action was put out on this Facebook page at the end of July to fill positions, close to 100 people saw the message, but not one person responded. If we can’t get these positions filled WE WILL NOT HAVE HOCKEY THIS YEAR .

IMPORTANT NOTICE - NO VOLUNTEERS, NO HOCKEY

Hi Thunder Parents,

The existing executive had the first meeting August 27th.

Our new equipment manager Brian Phelps has volunteered to be the Vice President under the direction of our past president, who technically fulfilled his duty as past president last year. The position of equipment manager is now filled by April Watson. Also of note, is that our Manitoulin Minor Hockey Rep doesn’t even have kids playing for Mindemoya Minor Hockey this year! What we really need is a President and Ref Assignor. These two positions are key to this organization continuing. If you would like more information, or to volunteer or co-volunteer for the ref assignor position let one of the executive know immediately. (Executive are cc’d on this message)

Contacts:

Brian Phelps - VP

Erin Lariviere - 2nd VP

Erin Watson Smith - Treasurer

Marcus Mohr - Secretary

Jon Balfe - Manitoulin Minor Rep

April Watson- Equipment Manager

Tamey McAllister was the last ref assignor. Adam Smith was the past President and they are both willing to answer questions regarding roles and responsibilities, as well as helping to train a person for the position.

Thank you for your time,

Marcus Mohr
